Just a couple things to get the ball rolling. I feel like I shouldnt buy anything until I have a baby shower but I dunno if I can wait that long to start preparing! Did all you moms out there wait until the shower to buy needed items? Or did you start before the shower?
we still haven't really bought anything and i'm 30 weeks. well, i take it back..when we found out we were pregnant, we bought michael jordan onesies. :) my sisters all said to wait til the baby showers just so i know what to get instead of having to take things back. have your showers early enough so you have enough time to still "prepare" instead of feeling rushed ya know?
ReplyDeleteYou have been to baby showers so you know what people would probably get you so I would say get things that are too small to register for or that you can use lots of. I think socks and onesies are a good idea. You will probably get blankets and clothes and might get lucky with a bath and bedding. ok I feel like im starting to ramble so message me if you have questions.
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy 1 single clothing item until after Peyton arrived. Since we didn't find out what we were having which was a BLAST I waited a month. Honestly, all you need are gas drops, diapers, wipes, and some sleepers in the beginning. Babies sleep in bed with you most of the first month or in a bassinet next to you, so the bedroom doesn't even matter. All newborns wear are their jammies. So, your onesies are PERFECT!!!
